We were the first live recording company to introduce fiber optics with sound transmission systems.
We now have two MADI fiber optic systems with the following benefits:
Better sound quality
Up to 24 bits / 192 kHz quality 1.24 miles away without signal loss of any kind. We no longer need long copper cable runs at mic level.
More channel count
128 channels travel from stage through a single cable.
Having the option of placing the control room 1.24 miles away from the stage lets us have almost no noise pollution. All preamp parameters can be managed from the control room.
Auto-switch fail-safe redundant systems (sound & power).
No more fire or electrical hazards. In case the fiber is broken, it produces no sparkle or danger whatsoever.
The fiber optic is totally immune to any kind of interference and doesn’t carry electricity. It can be crossed with high tension or lighting system lines without being affected.
The cable run set up is much simpler and quicker.
